FULL PROGRAM

DAY 1, WELCOME TO BALI

At the airport, you will be greeted by your private driver, who will take you directly to your hotel in Seminyak, where you can finally relax after your journey.

Seminyak is located on the southwestern coast of the island, is a lively seaside resort that will enchant you with its typically Balinese atmosphere.

Depending on your arrival time, you may enjoy some free time to stroll along the beach. Immerse yourself in the local culture, and start getting accustomed to the island’s relaxed pace.

DAY 2, WALK THROUGH THE RICE PADDIES

This morning you will leave the coast of Seminyak and head north, to the region of Belimbing, famous for its magnificent terraced rice fields. Accompanied by a local guide, you will enjoy your first hike through these idyllic green landscapes and discover local agricultural life.

You will then continue northwards to visit the Brahma Vihara temple, the largest Buddhist temple on the island.
Afterwards, your journey will continue towards the eastern tip of the island of Java, crossing the strait by local ferry.

DAY 3, TREK TO THE TOP OF KAWAH IJEN

Before dawn, we will set off for the Kawah Ijen excursion to begin our ascent. The hike starts along a wide forest trail and then continues on a narrower path leading to the rim of the volcanic crater. From there, we will reach the famous “green crater” with its acidic lake and admire its striking colors at sunrise.

On the way back, you will make a short stop at Jagir Waterfall for a refreshing swim before returning to our hotel for a rewarding shower and some rest.

After lunch, you will take the ferry back to Bali and continue to your hotel in Pemuteran.

DAY 4, SNORKELING AT MENJANGAN ISLAND

This day is dedicated to discovering the wonders of Bali Barat National Park. In the morning, you will board on small boats for Menjangan Island, also known as the “island of deer.” This unspoiled island is surrounded by magnificent coral reefs, perfectly preserved. During our boat ride, you will have the opprtunity to look at the park’s scenic beauty and rich biodiversity. Once in Menjangan, we will dive into the crystal-clear waters for an exciting snorkeling session. You will explore the seabed, teeming with colorful corals, tropical fish, and other marine creatures. Menjangan’s reefs are considered among the best in Indonesia, offering an unforgettable snorkeling experience.

Later during the day, we will enjoy a delicious lunch on Menjangan’s beach. During our meal, you may spot the shy deer that inhabit the island.

In the afternoon, we will sail back to Bali. We will also have the chance to take a final walk up to the Bukit Kursi viewpoint, to overlook the spectacular views of the park and the surrounding islands.

Alternatively, you may return to your hotel to relax and enjoy its facilities.

DAY 5, A JOURNEY INTO THE MOUNTAINS OF MUNDUK

We will leave the coast behind for today and head towards the mountainous region of Munduk, stopping first at Pulaki Temple and the famous Banjar hot springs, where we can relax just like the locals do.

The walk will end at the foot of Munduk village, where we will be welcomed by a family for a traditional Balinese lunch. We will then continue your exploration with a stroll through Munduk village, visiting two of its many waterfalls. In the late afternoon, we will settle into your small hotel overlooking the plantations.

DAY 6, EXPLORE THE LAKES OF MUNDUK

We will set off today towards the lake region of Munduk. Our first stop is Lake Tamblingan, where we will enjoy a ride in a traditional canoe and also trek around its surrounding hills. Next, on the shores of Lake Bratan, we will visit the famous floating temple of Ulun Danu.

DAY 7, TREK THROUGH THE SEKUMBUL WATERFALLS

This morning we are setting off to visit the Sekumpul Waterfalls. It is considered among the most beautiful in Bali, and they are located in the northern part of the island. These multiple cascades create a breathtaking spectacle, with water plunging from several natural terraces, surrounded by lush tropical vegetation.

Upon arrival in the village of Sekumpul, we will start our trek which is moderately challenging and it will take us about three hours. W will cross rice fields, small streams, and climb a few steps. Our guide will assist you throughout the hike, providing insights into the local flora and fauna and helping you overcome any difficulties. Lunch in a traditional local warung.

After lunch, you will continue towards Bali’s volcanic area.

DAY 8, TREK TO THE TOP OF MOUNT BATUR AND VISIT UBUD

Before dawn, equipped with our headlamp and accompanied by a local guide, we will begin our ascent of Mount Batur. After about two hours of trekking, we will reach the summit just in time to see the sunrise. In front of us, breathtaking views will open up over the sea, the lake, and Mount Agung. We will then walk along the volcano’s crater ridge before enjoying a moment of relaxation in the nearby hot springs.

In the afternoon, we will continue east to visit Besakih, Bali’s mother temple, before heading to Ubud.

DAY 9, UBUD, RELAX AT LEISURE

On this free day, you may choose to explore the artisanal market or simply wander through the charming alleys of the town center. Along the way, you might come across traditional ceremonies or dance performances, especially near the royal palace. For the more adventurous, losing yourself in the paths winding through the rice fields can be a pleasant and fun alternative. You could also try your hand at batik or painting, or experience the sounds of the gamelan, the percussion instrument used by the Balinese on special occasions.

Ubud is not just a tourist destination, but truly the beating heart of the Balinese soul. Here, the authenticity of the island comes alive, as ancient traditions intertwine with contemporary art, creating a magical and engaging atmosphere.

DAY 10, DISCOVER UBUD

In the morning, our driver will take us to the Tampaksiring region, where we will visit the Gunung Kawi mausoleum.
Afterwards, we will continue to the sacred pools of Tirta Empul, an important spiritual site for the Balinese. This temple is renowned for its holy spring waters, used in purification rituals. We can observe the devotees bathing in the sacred pools, and if you wish, you may also take part in the ceremony or ritual bath, following the local guidelines. The atmosphere here is serene, mystical, and deeply spiritual. Next, we will head to Goa Gajah, also known as the Elephant Cave. The cave lies in a beautiful valley surrounded by lush tropical vegetation.

We will then return to Ubud to attend a performance of traditional Balinese dance.

DAY 11, FLY OUT
